The 30% federal tax credit ended for expenditures after December 31, 2025

Public Law 119-21 (July 4, 2025) amended 26 U.S.C. § 25D so the Residential Clean Energy Credit is not allowed for any expenditures made after December 31, 2025. The estimates above assume a 2026 installation with no federal credit.

State and utility incentives such as net metering, RI Renewable Energy Fund grants, and MA SMART are separate and may reduce your net cost. Ask us for the current value during your free estimate.
